Broken jaw in Bower Hinton

POLICE are appealing for information after a man suffered a broken jaw following an apparently unprovoked attack in Bower Hinton.

The victim, who is in his 20s, was walking on Blind Lane, Bower Hinton, at around 1am on Sunday, July 9, 2006.

A group of around six men approached the victim and spoke to him, before assaulting him and breaking his jaw.

The man required hospital treatment as a result.

All the attackers were white men aged between 20 and 25 years who are described as not having local accents.
