KIERON Boucher stunned Taunton with a tremendous 106 not out for Ilminster in the final of the Herbert Baker Memorial Cup at the County Ground, Taunton, on Tuesday evening.
The former Westlands' captain hit three successive sixes to win the game for the South Somerset side.
Taunton must have thought they had won the game after they scored 171-3 in their 20 overs with skipper Reg Keates knocking 69 not out and Paul Bradbury 59, the pair sharing in a third wicket stand of 89.
But Ilminster had other ideas and began the 18th over needing 22 to win with seven wickets in hand.
Boucher dispatched the first two deliveries for two apiece before smacking the next three balls out of the ground in a memorable final. In all he hit 12 sixes.
