Big Issue man's hospice gift

From the archive, first published Friday 31st Dec 2004.

A TAUNTON Big Issue seller has donated £540 of his hard-earned money to the Kingston St Mary Friends of the Children's Hospice South West.

Homeless Graham Walker, who can regularly be seen outside the post office in North Street with his toy dog, has collected more than £2,000 from sales of he book Unsettled - the Trials and Triumphs of a Big Issue Man.

The Friends of the Children's Hospice South West is not the only charity to benefit from Graham's generosity - the £2,000 will be shared with other good causes over Christmas as well as homeless people in the area.
